Alaska Militia Leader Gets Nearly 26 Years In Prison

A judge Tuesday sentenced the leader of an Alaska militia group convicted of conspiring to murder federal officials to nearly 26 years in prison, the Associated Press reports

Cox was convicted in June of nine federal charges, including conspiracy to kill federal law enforcement officers and possession of illegal weapons.

Another former member of the Alaska Peacekeeprs Militia was sentenced to nearly 26 years Monday.
