4-Year-Old ‘Accidentally’ Shoots Himself After Finding Gun

A four-year-old boy in La Plata, Md., accidentally shot himself Thursday after finding a gun in a car parked in a driveway, according to the Associated Press.

The boy was flown to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and expected to recover. Police told the AP that the gun was a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, registered to a relative.
