An 11-year-old boy in Belleville, Illinois was fatally shot by another child Tuesday night, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Wednesday.
Police did not release details about the boy’s identity, nor the identity of the child who shot the handgun, according to the Post-Dispatch. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.
