  • While the Ohio Supreme Court decided to postpone primaries after the state declared a public health crisis, the remaining three states -- Arizona, Florida and Illinois -- still plan to hold their elections today.
  • Many state officials, and even President Trump, expressed concern about holding the election during a global pandemic when most Americans are being encouraged to stay indoors. But the show will go on in the three key states, despite concerns over voter turnout suppression due to the virus.
  • This will be the second round of primaries with just two main frontrunners battling it out for the Democratic nomination: Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and former Vice President Joe Biden. While Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) is technically still running for president, she has only received seven of the 1,737 delegates awarded thus far.
  • Here's a breakdown of delegates as of March 11.
