The Senate Thursday evening struck a deal with the White House to fund the federal government. The plan, which came together after negotiations between the Trump White House and Senate Democrats, includes a two-week continuing resolution for the DHS funding bill alongside the passage of the remaining five full-year appropriations bills.
But Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who is unhappy with a House-backed provision included in one of the bills, brought Senate business to a halt. The provision in question would repeal a law allowing senators to receive cash payouts if they had their phone records seized during Jack Smith’s investigation.
The Senate will be back on Friday to try and vote on the negotiated package and CR. If the Senate is able to pass them, the bills will head to the House for a vote, though the details of how, if or when that will happen remain unclear.
Peace, safety and accountability? Ah he is there to redirect our attention from these unfortunate situations of terrorists being taken out to focus on the Somali fraud probe and Tim Walz’s accountability in it all.
Gotcha
Enquiring minds want to know; will there be any bags of money exchanged?
Donald Trump is making Charles Manson’s dream come true – and then some. Charlie wanted a race war, but he would never have imagined it would be waged by the federal government and financed by the American taxpayer.
This could be part of it. Homan being sent for damage control and to improve morale among the goons.
Bovino is a thug and has been a thug for years but got away with his antics because he worked near the border. He and his NAZI great coat have worn out their welcome with Trump.
