“In Case You Missed It.”
That’s all Democrats and the Obama campaign had to say about Donald Trump’s endorsement of Mitt Romney on the record Thursday.
It’s not that Democrats were speechless — behind the scenes, they were as chatty as many conservatives were publicly about seeing the GOP frontrunner stand beside the birther-in-chief. But sometimes, silence speaks volumes. And so the Democrats went with a snark attack after Trump.
The Democratic National Committee simply forwarded the Romney campaign’s on email touting Trump’s endorsement:
The Obama campaign took to Twitter, pumping out the video of Trump’s endorsement with this tweet: “In case you missed it.”
Naturally, the Obama campaign did not respond to a request for comment. Apparently, the Democrats think nothing else needed to be said.
