I’ve never had comments in the editor’s blog for reasons I’ve explained elsewhere. But I’m making a one time exception because I want to answer whatever questions you have about the new site platform, comments and everything else. Join me after the jump to ask questions or just see explanations for questions you might have.
Because this is a special chat, I’m going to follow a special set of rules that we wouldn’t apply elsewhere. Specifically, I’m going to delete comments that are rants or simply off point. I’m not trying to squelch dissent. But I want to keep the conversation very focused and have the net result be something like a FAQ for questions you might have. Feel free to ask general questions. But I’d like to get as many nuts and bolts questions as you have. Like, how do I upload my avatar? This doesn’t work for me. I understand why this is happening etc.
