‘Outrageous’

During the presser, Obama took direct aim at Sens. McCain and Graham for their comments today about Susan Rice’s capabilities and truthfulness. Watch.

Prime Updates

For Prime members, a quick update on logins and commenting. As of today we’ve enabled the TPM-native Prime login across the site. So you’ll be able to comment on the public parts of TPM using your Prime login rather than logging in with a social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) or Disqus account. This will streamline things and also allow you to exist under a single ‘entity’ everywhere on TPM.

Coming later this evening there will also be a ‘login’ icon at the upper right of the site as well as a place to login in the comments section itself.

More soon.

Mitt’s Inglorious Shuffle Off the National Stage

In 1952 Adlai Stevenson was the presidential nominee of the Democratic party and lost. He was renominated in 1956 to face Dwight Eisenhower again. And again he lost. There are some other cases like this in American history. Grover Cleveland actually won two non-consecutive terms in office. William Jennings Bryant was nominated multiple times. Read More
