It’s pretty awkward that the LA Chapter of the NAACP was scheduled to give Donald Sterling a lifetime achievement award in a couple weeks. Many of us had never heard Sterling’s name before this weekend. But for those who had, the fact that Sterling was a pretty big racist, both personally and in his business practices, was pretty well-known.
