For those of us who’ve seen a few seen a few presidential cycles, we know this. Budget balancing and anti-debt/deficit politics is a politico-economic governing philosophy rooted in Democrats occupying the White House. That sounds like a broad brush dismissal. But it is undeniably true. Reagan/Bush to Clinton to Bush to Obama to Trump. Sure as night follows day. Tax cuts matter. Deficits are irrelevant.
