Greetings folks. We’re currently having some problems with the sign in function at TPM. More details after the jump.
Here’s the story.
We’re currently upgrading our sign in system to do two things — 1) to allow users to choose, if they prefer, to sign in via Facebook Connect and 2) to make it harder for people to spam the site, something that has been an increasing problem.
As sometimes happens when you’re doing an upgrade like this, you get into a two steps forward, one step back type situation. So for the moment, these changes have had the unintended consequence of causing a number of you to have problems signing in to comment or blog. We’re aware of the problems. And we hope to have them solved by early afternoon. Please bear with us.
We’ll be updating this post with more details as we try to fix the problem.
