Here’s the spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security using a public twitter account to try to defend the President’s racist conspiracy theories.
Citizens of countries outside Central America, including countries in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and elsewhere are currently traveling through Mexico toward the U.S.

Note what this says and doesn’t say. It doesn’t say these foreign nationals are part of the “caravan”. It just says they’re in Mexico and planning to enter the United States.
The US-Mexico border is the busiest border in the entire world. In 2010 there were approximately 350 million legal border crossings annually. You don’t need to be a math wiz to know that’s almost a million crossings every day.
Even an imbecile must realize that there are citizens from other parts of the world crossing the US-Mexico border in both directions every day, from the Middle East, Asia, Europe.
This is a pretty clear example of a government official using a public Twitter account to make technically accurate statements the clear intent of which is to support the President’s conspiracy theories and racist incitement.
