The 25th Anniversary Live Show
To commemorate TPM’s 25th Anniversary, we’ve put together our biggest show ever. The night is split into three parts:
25 Years of TPM: Current TPM editors David Kurtz, John Light and Nicole LaFond will be joined by TPM alums Paul Kiel (now at ProPublica), Evan McMorris-Santoro (NOTUS) and Catherine Thompson (New York magazine) to chronicle a quarter century of TPM. Each of them played a unique and critical role in creating the TPM that exists today. From Kiel — one of TPM’s first employees — to Light — TPM’s current executive editor, there’s very little, if anything, that has happened at TPM that one of these six didn’t have a hand in.
The Josh Marshall Podcast Featuring Kate Riga: A very, very special live episode of everyone’s favorite podcast, covering a mix of current events and TPM retrospective. However you interact with TPM — reader, listener, commenter, emailer — and regardless of whether you’ve been following for 25 years or 25 minutes, you won’t want to miss what is sure to be a historic moment not just for TPM but the history of American journalism itself.
Cocktail Reception: Maybe we should just call it The Josh Reception, but following the show we’ll have an open bar, plenty of food and an opportunity to chat with the TPM staff — including Josh himself.

Something we hear a lot from readers, listeners, TPM fans of all sorts: We just want to meet you all … especially Josh Marshall.
Well, here’s your chance!
The whole team, plus a ton of alumni and other media luminaries, will be on hand to celebrate the 25th. We’ll have a live DJ, free food and free drinks. Aside from that, there’s no agenda. Just hanging out, having fun and getting to know each other.
If that sounds like a good time, then join us Nov. 7th at the The Bogart House in Brooklyn. We’d love to see you!
