Well, it’s also fair to point out that, as Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid is a national political figure in a way that other House Reps are not. So his name, and therefore his race is subject to national debate and demagoguery (and fundraising) similar to the way Nancy Pelosi would be.
So it may be more accurate to consider the national character of SOME of the races rather than considering them all in the same way…
I think that’s right.
