Twelve Potential 2012 GOP Candidates Invited To Iowa Social Conservative Forum

The Faith and Freedom Coalition, a social conservative group in Iowa, has invited 12 prospective Republican presidential candidates to a forum on March 7.So far, the Des Moines Register reports that the invitees include:

Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Texas Congressman Ron Paul, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Indiana Congressman Mike Pence, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, South Dakota Sen. John Thune.

Herman Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, and a tea party favorite, also received an invite.

Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton is also expected to receive an invitation to the event, which will be held at a church near Des Moines.
