New Dem-Aligned Ad Hits GOP 2016ers For Anti-Immigration Views

A new ad produced by a Democrat-aligned super PAC seeks to send Latino voters a message: Donald Trump isn’t the only GOP 2016er railing against immigrants.

The ad, released Thursday, features statements made by other Republican candidates – namely former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush on “anchor babies” and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker on ending birthright citizenship – alongside some of Trump’s controversial anti-immigrant remarks.

Priorities USA, a pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC, will place the ad in television sets in Colorado, Florida and Nevada, states a large Latino electorate, the New York Times reported. The 30-second spot features Spanish subtitles for comments made by Trump, Bush and Walker.

“There are 17 Republicans running for President, With one message for immigrant families …” the ad opens, before playing the clips of the candidates.

“This is the Republican Party,” it concludes.

    Thanks Trump!

Between making the GOP looking ridiculous on immigration, and now calling for higher taxes on the rich, you really have to wonder if Trump is just trolling the GOP to help Hillary win. If Trump can make higher taxes on the rich politically correct in the GOP, then the GOP can’t hammer Hillary with the typical “tax and spend” line they always used.

  3. its still too early to trot somethin like this out i see why cause of all the bs spewed by trump and the rest of the GOP field…I just hope they remember to do this around sept oct and nov 2016

  4. It’s taken them long enough…

The fact it is a Hillary supporting PAC, Will prod them to further double down on the anti-immigration line they have been going with. It allows trump to say that Hillary is afraid of him so they attack Jeb!, etc…

It would have been political malpractice to do this and lock in the impression that repubs hate Latinos. This leaves whoever the Democratic nominee is in good shape with that voting block…
