Political candidates are forced to expose much — just usually not their chests.

Ohio Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher beat Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner last night to win the Democratic nomination for Senator, and a new GOP web video mercilessly juxtaposes an image of Fisher topless with a smooth jazz soundtrack.

The web video, put out by the Ohio NRSC, attacks Fisher’s record as lieutenant governor, but more importantly, shows us more than we ever wanted to see of his chest hair. According to a Politico report from last year, the image comes from a 2008 documentary about Ted Strickland’s 2006 campaign for governor, and was shot by Fisher’s son.

The TPM Poll Average for this race shows Fisher with a slim 40.5%-39.2% lead over former Rep. Rob Portman (R).
