Jon Stewart last night said Sean Hannity played “nurse” to Sarah Palin during their interview Monday night, and was eager to upgrade her victim status from “innocent bullied teenager to Joan of Arc.”

Palin during the interview defended her use of the term “blood libel” to describe the treatment she has received in the wake of the shooting in Tucson, which she defined as “being falsely accused, or having blood on your hands.”
During the interview, Hannity told Palin he hasn’t heard her complain much about the left’s treatment of her after the shooting.
“Really, you don’t hear her complaining about it?” Stewart said. “You should maybe watch her when she appears on the Sean Hannity show. I guess it’s hard to see through all the plumes of ass smoke you’re blowing, but is it hard to hear too? Because watching the two of you insisting on her easy-going nature reminds me of taking my grandmother out to eat.”
