Megan Greenwell is the author of the bestelling book Bad Company: Private Equity and the Death of the American Dream. A former editor at publications including WIRED, Deadspin, and New York Magazine, she has also worked as a staff writer at The Washington Post, covering education, philanthropy, and the war in Iraq. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Slate, Esquire, and ESPN. She also works as deputy director of the Princeton Summer Journalism Program for high school students from low-income backgrounds. A California native, she lives in New York with her husband, Dr. David Heller, and their pug Theo.
