ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Greek police say a bomb has exploded near the Acropolis in central Athens, but it was not immediately clear what the target was and whether anybody has been hurt.

The explosion followed a warning call to a Greek newspaper late Wednesday.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
