A top aide for Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) forwarded a bizarre and racist email involving a nightmare about waking up being disabled, gay, black and Jewish.

The email, sent in 2010 and first reported by Buzzfeed, was forwarded by Thomas Nardelli, who was Walker’s chief of staff when he was Milwaukee County Executive. The email was forwarded to unknown recipients.

The group American Bridge, which is combing through the Scott Walker documents released on Wednesday, revealed the six-page email (which you can read in full below), which describes nightmare in which the narrator wakes up and “discovered that I am a Negro, and I’m circumcised.”

The narrator soon realizes he’s also disabled and HIV positive.

“I am a homosexual, and on top of that with a Mexican boyfriend. Oh, my God … Black, Jewish, disabled, gay with a Mexican boyfriend, drug addict, and HIV-positive!!! the email continued. It ends with the narrator fearing that he’s also a Democrat.

“Say it isn’t so!!! I can handle being a black, disabled, one armed, drug-addicted, Jewish homosexual on a pacemaker who is HIV positive, bald, orphaned, unemployed, lives in a slum, and has a Mexican boyfriend, but please, Oh dear God, please don’t tell me I’m a Democrat.”

The email came as part of a document dump of over 27,000 emails surrounding an investigation of Walker and staffers. Read the rest of TPM’s coverage of the documents here.
