White House Press Secretary Jay Carney on Sunday said that passage and implementation of the health care law was “worth it” even if it results in democrats losing control of the Senate.

“It is absolutely worth it, no matter what happens politically,” he said on ABC’s “This Week” when asked whether Obamacare was worth risking a Senate majority.

Carney added that he doesn’t believe that the health care law’s glitchy rollout will cost Democrats the Senate.

“I just disagree that Republicans are going to have a winning issue on this, if they decide to run on it, because they’ve got to explain what repeal means,” he said about the GOP talking points on health care.
