Police in Atlanta are investigating a suspicious package located near the headquarters of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
A DeKalb County official told FOX5 in Atlanta that a bomb unit is evaluating the package, which was found across the street from the CDC building. FOX5 reported that businesses in the area have been evacuated.
But Barbara Reynolds, a spokesperson for CDC, told TPM that their headquarters has not been evacuated.
