Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) announced Wednesday that the House will vote in July to delay Obamacare’s individual mandate for one year, a move that comes in response to the Obama administration’s decision to delay the employer mandate for a year.

In a follow up tweet, Cantor said, “If big business is to get off free from #Obamacare’s mandate, then so should you and your family.”
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) office slammed the move.
“With the announcement of their 38th vote to repeal the ACA, House Republicans are making it crystal clear they have no agenda and nothing to keep the House in session to consider,” Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill told TPM. “With the American people waiting for action on jobs and the economy, here are House Republicans yet again playing games and wasting time on bills to nowhere.”
Some outside conservatives expressed skepticism Wednesday toward the plan.
