Jim Messina, President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign manager, reacted with glee on Wednesday to news that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is considering a run for U.S. Senate next year.
Arguing that a Palin candidacy would be a gift to Democrats, Messina took to Twitter to urge the former GOP vice presidential nominee to throw her hat in the ring. Messina actually botched Palin’s Twitter handle — not to mention the spelling of her first name — in his first tweet, before subsequently correcting himself.
Candidate @sarapalin? Could anything be better for natl Dems? This my R friends is guaranteed not to fix your problems. . .
