Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) vowed that “we will remember the men of the Granite Mountain Hotshots,” just as the nation has remembered the firefighters who sacrificed their lives on 9/11.
Brewer asked at a Monday press conference for everyone to keep in their prayers the 19 members of the elite firefighting squad, Granite Mountain Hotshots, killed in the massive Prescott, AZ wildfires Sunday.
“I just can’t even imagine how the families and friends that knew these individuals feel,” Brewer said. “It’s unbearable for me.”
