A progressive group on Monday started a legal defense fund for Edward Snowden, the source of the National Security Agency leaks, asking its supporters to donate $10 to “help him defend himself and tell his story.” The petition via the Progressive Change Campaign Committee can be found here.
A Facebook employee has also started a crowdfunding campaign to help pay for the legal fees expected to be incurred by Snowden.
