White House: FEMA Has Enough Money To Help Oklahoma Victims — For Now

White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters Tuesday that FEMA has enough funds to address the tornado devastation in Oklahoma — for now.

“We have been pleased to work with Congress and we’ve been pleased by the fact Congress allowed us to do what is needed in situations like this,” he said. “That means being able to respond to the state’s needs and, right now, FEMA has sufficient resources to do that. Further assessments obviously will be forthcoming.”
