As the so-called Gang of Eight group continues to mark up legislation in the Senate, a bipartisan group of House lawmakers also working on a bill reforming the nation’s immigration system reached an “agreement in principle” on Thursday.
“We have an agreement in principle,” Rep. John Carter (R-Tex.) said, according to The Hill.
