Jon Stewart on Tuesday kept the heat on President Barack Obama over investigations into potentially improper conduct by the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Justice and the Department of State.
Stewart detected a familiar pattern. Whenever Obama finds himself embroiled in scrutiny, the President claims that he found out about the controversy the same way – and at the same time – as the general public.
“You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if President Obama learned Osama bin Laden had been killed when he saw himself announcing it on television,” Stewart cracked.
On Monday’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Stewart skewered the scandal that’s enveloping the Internal Revenue Service, saying it vindicates conspiracy theorists on the right-wing.
