Some of the central players in the debate over last year’s deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya will appear this Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” the network announced.
First, House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) will sit down with host David Gregory. The Issa-led panel held a hearing on Benghazi earlier this week. Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) will appear alongside Issa.
After the two lawmakers finish, Ambassador Thomas Pickering, who has led the State Department’s review of what went wrong in Benghazi and has swatted down Republican suggestions that the Obama administration engaged in a cover-up, will respond.
