Democrat Rep. Ed Markey’s latest ad released Wednesday in the Massachusetts Senate race highlights the congressman’s record of creating jobs in telecommunications.
The ad features members of the business community praising Markey’s work.
“Ed Markey fought to break up monopolies and transform the telecom industry, unleashing competition and private-sector investment and creating good jobs,” says Diane Hessan, CEO of Communispace.
“I’m proud Massachusetts is leading this wave of innovation,” Markey says at the end of the ad.
Markey is running against Republican businessman Gabriel Gomez in the June 25 special election for John Kerry’s Senate seat.
