President Obama spoke Monday with Boston Mayor Tom Menino and Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick Monday after explosions at the Boston Marathon, expressing concern and offering any necessary support, according to a White House pool report. Obama also received a briefing from Homeland Security adviser Lisa Monaco and other members of his senior White House staff in the Oval Office.
