President Barack Obama announced Friday that he intends to work with Congress in providing Jordan an additional $200 million in aid to assist the country with its large influx of Syrian refugees, which has steadily increased due to the ongoing civil war there. Obama arrived in Jordan Friday after a three-day trip to Israel, meeting with the Jordanian King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein. It is his last stop before he returns to Washington this weekend.
