A Democratic party spokesman in Wisconsin was reprimanded on Monday for a recent Twitter outburst in which he compared Gov. Scott Walker (R) to infamous cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer.
Officials stripped Graeme Zielinski of his title, docked him a week’s pay, and banned him from further use of Twitter. However, the party retained Zielinksi as a “media adviser,” per the Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.
Zielinski offered an apology on Friday and deleted the offensive tweets.
