A judge in Riverside County, Calif., on Monday found a 12-year-old boy guilty of shooting and killing his father, Jeffrey Hall, a neo-Nazi activist, the Los Angeles Times reported. Hall died in May 2011, when the boy was 10 years old.

A hearing will be held to determine his sentence. He could be sent to a juvenile detention center, an alternative treatment center or placed on probation, according to the L.A. Times.

Hall was friendly with J.T. Ready, according to the Phoenix New Times. Ready was a longtime white supremacist and border vigilante who killed himself and four other people in May 2012. Ready was once a member of the National Socialist Movement, a neo-Nazi group. Hall was a regional director for the organization.
