Hawaii Sen.-designate Brian Schatz, who was appointed by Gov. Neil Abercrombie on Wednesday to replace Sen. Daniel Inouye in the Senate, joined President Obama on his return to Washington on Thursday, according to the White House.
Just had a nice, brief chat with the President on Air Force One. Looking forward to supporting his agenda in the Senate.
