Paul Ryan released a new ad Wednesday for his House seat back in Wisconsin. As with a previous ad, Ryan is shown wearing safety goggles in a factory setting — and talking to workers about the tax code.
“Hardworking taxpayers like you deserve a common sense tax code: Simple, fairer, and lower tax rates to make America more competitive,” Ryan says. “‘Fairer’ means eliminating loopholes and handouts that go to high income earners and the politically connected. Every American deserves the opportunity to achieve and succeed. America should be a place where if you work hard and play by the rules, you can get ahead.”
As with previous spots Ryan has run in this swing state, the Republican nominee for vice president does not specifically mention for which office he is running, though his congressional campaign logo does appear briefly.
