Facebook Ends Survey Asking Users Which Friends Are Fake

Facebook has ended a stealthly survey administered for several months to some users of the world’s most popular social network, which asked them to look at a Friends’ profile name and report to Facebook whether that was the person’s real name or not.

The Next Web reported that the test had concluded as of Wednesday, citing a Facebook spokesperson’s comment: “We do not have any plans at the moment to roll out the test more broadly, but are always looking at ways to keep our users and their data safe.”
