An actress who appeared in the anti-Muslim film blamed for recent violence and protests in the Middle East plans to sue the filmmakers in federal court, Reuters reports.
Cindy Lee Garcia has said that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the producer of “Innocence of Muslims,” duped her about the intent behind the film.
Garcia had originally filed a civil suit in a state court in California, but will drop that suit on Monday in favor of a federal copyright case.
