Democratic Sen. Jon Tester leads Republican Rep. Denny Rehberg, and a third-party candidate is picking up marginal support.
Tester leads Rehberg 45 percent to 43 percent, and Libertarian candidate Dan Cox has 8 percent, according to Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling. The survey of 656 likely voters was conducted Sept 10-11, and has a 3.8 percent margin of error.
The PollTracker Average shows Tester and Rehberg tied at 44.3 percent.
