President Obama expressed his admiration for Clint Eastwood even after Eastwood’s appearance at the Republican National Convention in an interview with USA Today on Saturday, saying “I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan.”
“He is a great actor, and an even better director,” Obama said. “I think the last few movies that he’s made have been terrific.”
Obama added that he was not offended by Eastwood’s latest performance at the RNC. “One thing about being president or running for president — if you’re easily offended, you should probably choose another profession,” the president said.
