Continuing to hammer Mitt Romney over his tax plan, the Obama campaign released a digital tool Thursday morning that allows you to compare your tax burden under the Obama and Romney tax plans. The tool is based on a report from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center which found that Romney’s plan would raise taxes on 95 percent of Americans.
Team Obama also released a web video to accompany the tool, featuring deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter. “Now we ask a lot of you guys, so I’m not going to ask you to share a tax report with your friends,” Cutter says in the video after outlining the study’s findings. “So there’s another way you can see what this all means for your family,” Cutter says, unveiling the digital calculator.
