The International Atomic Energy Agency announced Friday that there had been no progress in talks with Iran on continuing the investigation into the country’s nuclear program. After an eight-hour meeting, Herman Nackaerts, the IAEA’s global head of inspections, said no future date for further talks had yet been set.
The IAEA was hoping for an agreement to inspect the Parchin military complex, where, according to Reuters, “it believes explosives tests relevant for the development of nuclear bombs have taken place.” The IAEA has also stated that it suspects Iran may now be cleaning Parchin of evidence.
