The Supreme Court is going mobile. The highest court in the land announced this week that on June 1, it will be launching a new version of its main website formatted specifically for easier reading on smartphones and tablets. As the Supreme Court said in a statement:

The Court’s Website has always supported a variety of web browsers, but it will now detect the mobile device being used and will automatically adjust the display based on the screen size and orientation. This Website enhancement will make the Court’s site easier to read on a mobile device and improve user navigation on the site.

The new site comes in time to allow smartphone and tablet users to better read the upcoming SCOTUS decision on the national health care reform law, anticipated near the end of the current session, in late June.
