‘Face The Nation’ Tries ‘Every Week’ To Book Romney

“Face the Nation’ host Bob Schieffer said that Monday night that he tries “every week” to book Mitt Romney on his Sunday show. “I call at least two or three times a week, and they keep saying maybe, maybe, maybe next week. But they never do,” Schieffer told The Huffington Post’s Michael Calderone.

“The door is open,” Schieffer said. “We’ll put him on whenever he’s ready to do it. We’re ready to have him.”
