In an interview with Al Jazeera, a regional Taliban commander has promised a shift of the groups military campaign away from US soldiers and towards Afghan security forces. Mullah Dowran, said that while in the past the Taliban had “showed them leniency many times in the fight” the rebel group would no longer ignore what he called the “the damage created by Afghan forces.” Mullah added that “now they are our priority.” Via Al Jazeera English
