Indiana Democrats have released a video using comments made by Mitt Romney’s spokesman likening his positions to an Etch A Sketch as an attack against Republican Sen. Richard Lugar, who’s facing a primary challenger at home.
The video opens with Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom’s line about Romney’s transition from the primary to the general election being like an Etch A Sketch, and then claims Lugar is in the same boat as Romney when it comes to changing positions. Text in the ad asks: “We knew Mitt Romney would say anything to get elected, but Richard Lugar?”
