Sen. Dick Lugar (R-IN) has a new TV ad out boasting of his conservative credentials — and attacking his challenger in the suddenly very close Republican primary, state Treasurer Richard Mourdock.
“Richard Mourdock is attacking Dick Lugar again. Now, intentionally misrepresenting Lugar’s record on Obamacare. Typical politician,” the announcer says. “Mourdock knows the truth: Lugar voted against Obamacare 32 times — and he’s fought Obamacare in both the U.S. Appeals and U.S. Supreme Courts. In fact, it was Dick Lugar who asked Indiana’s attorney general to challenge Obamacare’s constitutionality. That case is now before the U.S. Supreme Court. Wonder what else Mourdock misleads Hoosiers on?”
