At an undecided voter candidate forum hosted by Mike Huckabee in South Carolina Saturday night, Jon Hunstman joined with fellow Republican candidates in calling for an end to the federal Dept. Of Education.
“So long to the Dept of Education,” Hunstman said to a question about how he’ll deal with education as president.
“I can’t find the value added in the Dept. of Education,” Hunstman said, adding, “we need to get education policy as close to the local decision makers as possible.”
